Here is a pre-owned AO (American Optical) Catalog Number 577 auxiliary lens made for AO Stereo Star Zoom microscopes. The lens is in good condition, comes in its original box, and is ready for immediate use
This lens will fit Stereo Star Zoom Power Bodies "C" (No. 570, 0.7X to 4.2X) and "T" (No. 580, 10X to 60X). Use of this 2X auxiliary lens will double the effective magnification of these Power Body heads. In other words, with the 2X auxiliary lens installed on the microscope and 10X eyepieces installed, the "C" Power Body (AO 570) will provide magnifications of 14X to 84X. With this 2X auxiliary lens installed on the 580 head, and with 10X eyepieces installed, the microscope will provide magnifications of 20X to 120X.
Note: Use of this auxiliary lens on the microscope reduces the working distance to 1.3 inches.
