If there is a defect in the alternator, there may be difficulties starting or the battery may be permanently discharged. Under certain circumstances, the control lamp with the battery symbol will then light up. The battery may not have been charged properly, often indicated by a squeaking sound in the engine compartment. Or the bearing in the LiMa is defective and for too much resistance.

This alternator delivers 90A (amps) at 14V. The generator is a completely new production and not a remanufactured old part. You do not have to send in your old generator.
