In honor of 35th anniversery of American Eagle Coins, they saw extensive change of design on the reverse of the Coins in 2021 after 35 years since their first Release in 1986.
Two different design of American Eagle were released in 2021.
Type-1older design and type -2 new design.
A Historic year for American Silver Eagle for sure.
Obverse:
Lady liberty draped in an American Flag walking gracefully as the sun rises over a ridge. Minor Changes between Type-1 and type-2, design is almost same.
Reverse:
Type-1;Heraldic Eagle below 13 stars, representing original colonies.
Type-2;The reverse of the coin replacing iconic Heraldic Eagle by a Flying Bald Eagle that is either carrying or landing on an oak branch.
2021-Silver Eagle Type-1-Last day of production and Silver Eagle Type-2-First day of Issue and both Coins Certified by PCGS as MS70 and Master Designer Leonard Buckley signed Native American Insert Label----made these Coins very very special.
Master Designer Mr. Leonard Buckley
Master Designer Mr. Leonard Buckley the famous US Mint Banknote & Coin Designer with the Bureau of Engraving and painting. He is among the master designers along with associate designer were involved in original designs for the Nations Coins and Medals under US Mint new "Artistic Infusion Program" Starting from February 2004.He is also famous for watercolor painting and calligraphy.
