PAYMENT is by PayPal only and in U.S. dollars only and is expected to be in our hands within 7 days of your winning bid or "buy it now" purchase. Those planning to make multiple bids and desiring combined invoices in order to cut back on postage costs need only to send us a quick e-mail as to your intentions. Payment is still expected within 7 days (no exceptions unless personally granted).

SHIPPING AND HANDLING: Because most sellers cannot put up for auction everything they own in one week, one of the problem areas with E-Bay buying is the prohibitive costs of constantly paying shipping fees as one reorders from the same sellers or even different sellers over a period of time. As buyers ourselves we have experienced this dilemma and even though we cannot solve it we do promise to do our best to make shipping a "break even" proposition. It is not our intention to make profit on shipping costs, just to break even.  We never charge a handling fee. Our shipping fee for 1st class mail for one standard size American magazine is (continually changing), which includes delivery confirmation, and is due to USPS rate hikes.  The Priority Mail rate for one standard size American magazine is (continually changing).  You can expect to pay more for each magazine beyond the one. For orders of more than one magazine please remember that some of the above rates may not apply due to the total weight so please request a combined invoice. We do combine invoices for multiple winning bids/purchases to help you cut down on shipping costs.

** We do accept returns in cases of our negligence...... and not much else. Buyer has 14 days after he/she receives the item to return it for a full refund. Buyer pays for return shipping unless we are negligent (for instance, we send you an item someone else won in an auction).

** We do NOT include handling charges in our fees, just what it costs to ship the items you won. One of the reasons for this is that we believe in recycling shipping materials so as to use them more than once and to not have to charge you for plastic sleeves, backing boards, cardboard packing material, and envelopes. So, we will ship many of your items in used packaging materials. We hope and trust that you will not be offended by the look of the packaging but will be impressed by the security your items are given due to how they are packaged. If you are offended please let us know and you will receive any future orders in new packaging materials. In 34+ years of doing mail order we have never lost a package due to using recycled packaging materials.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: Winning bids/purchases for international orders may need to be adjusted based on your particular location/shipping distance and total weight of the package. Our international shipping fees are approximations based on the average weight and size for ONE magazine. We will update shipping costs and facilitate quick shipment of your order with your assistance. The main way for you to assist us is to not pay for anything until we send you an invoice. Please pay right away after you have received the invoice. Most packages under four (4) pounds will be shipped via USPS International Flat Rate and the amount varies from country to country. You can check those amounts by going to USPS.com and identify your location in your country. Custom form numbers will accompany and identify your package.

FOREIGN MAGAZINES: As we go through the stars/magazines there will be many opportunities to win bids/purchase magazines from Europe and other parts of the world. Even though these magazines were mostly not in color, had less pages, and many of us cannot read the text, in my humble opinion, the photography in these magazines was superior to many U.S. magazines and should be quite desirable to many collectors. They often featured American movie stars in not-so-standard poses, too. In addition, the majority of these magazines featured movie stars on both the front and back covers. Because most countries had several publications and most were printed weekly (52 issues per year, not just 12) there are many more American movie stars gracing the covers and pages of their magazines than that of U.S. publications. The challenge of finding all the covers of your favorite stars is pretty overwhelming. But you can get started or keep going in your pursuit by checking this site often. One of the bigger challenges/worries/concerns is getting foreign magazines from those countries and into your hands. Well, the postage has already BEEN PAID and they are here in the States for the bidding/buying so "stay tuned" to this site and you will be delighted at the gorgeous items you will see over several months to come.

FEEDBACK: To complete any E-Bay transaction, they will ask you to provide a Detailed Seller Rating (DSR) as part of their feedback system. Their ratings suggest that anything less than 5 stars is still very good but they hold us sellers to a higher standard. For us a rating of less than 4.9 overall will change the fee structure by which they charge us for their service. We want to keep our expenses down and our prices down as well so that you will be encouraged to buy from us. Please help us to do so by rating us with 5 stars in all four categories whenever possible. If you feel that you have not been given 5-star service please contact us before giving feedback so that we might make right whatever has gone wrong. We GUARANTEE our product and service and customer satisfaction is very important to us. We want to earn the five stars and do not expect you to give us what we do not deserve. But, we are all human and make mistakes so we just want the chance to fix whatever may have gone wrong.
