1993-1998 Ford Ranger 3rd Third Brake Light Wire Harness OEM. Condition is Used.

Ford Ranger 1995 used oem rear cab/roof mounted 3rd brake light harness. Should fit 1993-1999 and possibly more model years....Consult your dealer to verify fitment for other applications. Compare part in pictures with your part for compatibility issues.  

Remove your 3rd brake light housing to visually check for a single or 3 bulb wire harness.

Removed from the rear edge of a Ford Ranger cab roof. Housing consists of clear outer lense and red inner lense. Three (3) hole/socket openings.

Some Rangers have an all red housing which consists of a single bulb w/harness.

Clear lense end portion is used to light up the cargo bed.

This listing is just for the harness only (with bulbs).  

Ribbed push-in clip holds wires firmly in place to help alleviate any vibrations or rattles.

 

Light has been tested and is operational.     

Wiring harness and receptacle is intact. Brass pins are straight and clean....makes for a good electrical connection. 

Bulb sockets and receptacles are in great condition. Light tan rubber molded sockets are still soft and pliable. Not showing any cracking, melting or splitting due to excessive heat or ultraviolet sunrays.

Would recommend replacing bulbs with LED versions. Will include 3 new LED bulbs.

The center bulb receptacle typically shorts out or melts before the outer holders.

Sockets twistlock into back openings on the hard plastic housing.

Brass tabs securely hold bulb in place for when the brake is pressed to illuminate light.

Bulbs and wire harness shown in pictures are included in the listing.

Bulbs have been tested...not responsible for rough handling during the shipping process.

Sold 65 harnesses. Had to go to auto recyclers and find some more Rangers.

Demand is greater than what supply is available. The 2 recycling yards I pull parts from are getting fewer vehicles due to owners trying keep them running longer.
