This unique antique free-blown glass powder horn vase is a true treasure for any collector. The beautiful purple color marbrie decoration is rare to see on these free blown powder horns. Its origins can be traced back to either Pittsburgh or South Jersey in the 19th century, making it a rare and valuable piece. It measures roughly 11 1/2” tall and is in mint condition with no damage only age appropriate shelf wear. The inside is filled with plater of Paris which was frequently done by collectors to enhance the display. See the last photo for an example in a more frequently seen color that recently sold at auction.
