Guild is known for being used by Paul Simon and John Denver, as well as Kiyoshiro Imawano and Keisuke Kuwata in Japan, and was once counted as one of the top three acoustic guitar brands.
This time, the all-mahogany dreadnought model D-20E has arrived.
Manufactured at a new factory in Southern California, this model is popular for its light weight and good sound typical of all-maho models, and its history dates back to 1968.
All solid mahogany body, mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard bridge, 651mm scale, nut width 43mm, open gear tuner, scalloped bracing, all satin finish.
The pickup is equipped with L.R.BaggsVTC.
Although it is inferior to a spruce top in terms of the dynamic sound, the dry feel when stroked with a flat pick and the sweet sound when played fingerstyle are unique to all mahogany.
The neck is generally in good condition, with a slight bow on the 6th string side and straight on the 1st string side.
The string height above the 12th fret is adjusted to approximately 2.5mm on the 6th string side and approximately 1.6mm on the 1st string side.
There are some small scratches from use and some gloss on the elbows and areas where the fingers touch, but since it was made in 2018, it is in relatively good condition.
Comes with original hard case.
