Vintage 1980s cord necklace with a large cross pendant  Silver tone metal, textured patterned surface. Embellished with a foiled red oval cabochon (looks like glass but I am not 100% certain))  Size approximately 6x4 cm (excluding the loop)  Weight 17 grams  (pendant only) The pendant comes with a long black waxed cord. I can replace it with a black velvet ribbon, please let me know at the time of check out) Made in England by Legacy, British manufacturer for the UK high street.  The company was founded in the 1920s and was one of the largest jewellery suppliers to Liberty, Harrods, Selfridges, John Lewis, House of Fraser, Frank Usher, Jane Shilton and other good quality brands. The company closed in the early 1990s. This striking, mint condition pendant was part of their recently re-discovered original stock, as preserved in their warehouse for several decades.
