Tested playback, fast forward/rewind & record functions only. I tested some commercial VHS & VHS home movies and they played fine.

The unit was last used years ago to film weddings and it has been sitting in storage ever since. It was carefully packed and protected from dust in a smoke free home.

All functions worked the last time I used it, so I assume they are are still working.

I tested the light button for the VU meters and it worked, but the button got pressed in, so the light is no longer working.

Unit is being sold "as is" and there are no returns.
