HAYASE GUITAR STUDIO GD-7c "Uramasari-g" Makoto Sakuramura model Gold leaf

Description

GD-7c "Uramasari-g" Makoto Sakuramura model (gold leaf specification)

7 string acoustic guitar. Also, the frets are extended -2 frets below the normal 0 fret, and the open 7th string is A. Regular tuning with 2 capos. With one capo, you can lower the regular tuning by a semitone. By using a capo, you can instantly lower the pitch by a semitone or one step without loosening the pegs. Therefore, the tension is maintained even if you lower the pitch by a semitone or one step. This will also reduce the number of times you take your guitar home with you on stage.

As for the sound, you can feel calm overtones within the core of the fundamental tone, and the dreadnought-type body shape provides a rich bass sound. I also think that the 7-string guitar gives the sound a deeper resonance and spaciousness than a 6-string guitar.
HAYASEGUITARSTUDIO's comment

This is about the Uramasari model.

Since this is a guitar for Mr. Sakuramura, who is also a guitarist in a Japanese musical instrument band, I wanted to create a model that incorporates a Japanese atmosphere, and is inspired by the word urakatsu, which is a word from the world of kimonos.
It is said that urakatsu was born as a reaction to the Edo shogunate's sumptuary ban, which regulated luxury for ordinary people. Even if the outer material was simple, by hiding something luxurious in the lining, people could enjoy stylish fashion while avoiding the eyes of the higher authorities.
Based on this ura-katsu pattern, we created the product based on the concept of keeping the conspicuous front side simple, and on the other hand, paying special attention to the less visible areas.
This direction extends not only to the exterior design but also to the production process. By applying foil to the inside of the body, we symbolically express the concept of urakatsuri, but in addition to this, we have improved the thickness of the board and the structure of the brace to match the 7-string guitar, and we have also improved the design around the neck and head. We also made sure to pay close attention to every detail.
As a result, I feel that although the appearance is not flashy, we have created an instrument that has a calm and solid presence.
As for the sound, you can feel calm overtones within the core of the fundamental tone, and the dreadnought-type body shape provides a rich bass sound. I also think that the 7-string guitar gives the sound a deeper resonance and spaciousness than a 6-string guitar.
