On offer Here is this stunning large printed wall hanging tapestry of the Barberini family coat of arms tapestry originally 17th century, used as a prop in the TV series THE CROWN

The wall hanging depicts the 17th century tapestry of the Barberini family. It has a central shield with the three bees of the Barberini coat of arms suspended in a tree with a crown, crest in the bottom of the picture is the Home of the Barberini family, the Italian town of Palestrine.

The Barberini, family were a prominent 17th century Noble Italian family who is most famous member raised to become Pope Urban VIII .

Made sometime in the last 5 - 10 years is very large and impressive wall hanging was made to use as a prop in the TV production. Very high-quality and would’ve been an expensive item to make. 

I know that the JPEG for the image from getting images cost £375 to start with then There’s the material, the printing, the manufacturing it’s been lined and has Tag hoops along the top, so it can be hung from a tapestry pole. There are two tickets on the back of the tapestry both say €3243 I have also found out there is a company in Brugge that manufacture these large wallhangings, so maybe that is the price that it cost. 

Unfortunately I don’t have a wall high enough or big enough to hang it from to show it as it’s intended or patients to sit through 60+ episodes of the crown to find a still of it being used in the TV production so I’m actually just selling it on its own merit, the price isn’t because it was used in the crown.

Condition is excellent.
