For sale is a WW1 medal set inclusive of a DCM for gallantry and inclusive of all the provenance.

The dcm was awarded for treating and pulling out wounded men under heavy enemy fire.

There is the DCM itself in very nice condition always dry stored. With a DCM league badge and DCM miniature book. And engraved silver hallmarked cigarette case and match case also silver hallmarked.

Letters all provided detailing the heroism and the reasons he was awarded the DCM. Also included are the campaign medals shown and an old photo of James Sweeney with some colleagues.

These things were awarded to man from Liverpool who was called James Sweeney and was my great grandad. They are stuck under my bed and so I think they need to go to someone who will appreciate them more than me.
