Description and Notes:
  • Antique Porcelain Delicate Sweet Pink Rose Delightfully Hand-painted Collectible
  • No chips or cracks. 
  • In general, pink roses represent sweetness, femininity, appreciation, and admiration. There are so many shades in the pink palette that they make up their own charming rainbow. Lighter hues, like baby pink, pastel pink, and similar soft pale colors, symbolize grace, gentleness, and joy.
  • This type of hatpin generally came in a kit and ladies would paint them. 
  • The head (ornament) is in excellent, hand-painted, solid connection. Stem is straight/strong. 
  • No hallmarks were observed.  
  • Overall, excellent condition. 
  • Date:  late 1800s early 1900s.
  • Hatpin Length: 7 3/4"  Head diameter: 1".
  • Beautiful Collectible.
