MARLEAUX has a workshop in Germany. We produce musical instruments with high potential that are designed with unique forms that are highly artistic. The newly arrived Contra is Marleax's highest model. Contra with semi-hollow structure. It is made using materials used for making violins and viols, as well as maple and spruce. As a result, it produces a glittering tone with a wide range of dynamics.
The newly arrived model is equipped with an underbridge contact microphone that Marleaux introduced several years ago. Realistic string ringing is added to the traditional acoustic tone, evolving into a more acoustic-like sound. In addition, the ergonomically designed body maintains weight balance whether standing or sitting, providing high playability.
