EDWARDS Platinum Edition ULTRATONE-SE Black
Description
ULTRATONE-SE adopts the initial small body shape.
After several prototypes were completed, we asked many artists to actually use the product, and we received feedback on the sound and usability and refined it, leading to commercialization.
The body is basswood with a wide range and flat sound. The outer circumference R has been increased to create a rounded look.
The neck is hard maple and the fingerboard is rosewood. The head shape of the CT system is Yoshimitsu Taki's signature model SUFFER.
The neck is bolt-on jointed to the body, and the body joint is star-cut to ensure playability at high frets.
The pickup installed in the ULTRATONE-SE is a humbucker type. The humbucker type model is equipped with a high output Seymour Duncan SH-6 distortion set. The bridge is a fixed type from ESP Custom Lab.
The controls are very simple and have a highly practical configuration with only a master volume and pickup selector.
The slide switch on the 6th string side of the pickup has a tone, which can be switched with one touch.
Since it uses a 0.01 F condenser, the effect is very mild.
