ESP ALEXI RIPPED Alexi Laiho Signature Model
Description
Charismatic of the melodic death metal world, Alexi Laiho model.
In the year before his death, ESP had been working with Alexi to add new models to the Signature series.
The RIPPED, now in stock, was born from the idea of MUSAMAAILMA staff in Finland, who have been supporting Alexi for many years, and was completed as the first model to use a neck pickup.
After it was completed, he immediately began using it in his band BodomAfterMidnight's recording and live performances.

This model is made by ESP of the same grade as the one I use.
Using carefully selected high-quality materials, each piece is carefully handmade by skilled craftsmen in a Japanese factory.
The body has a completely original shape based on the Randy V shape, and it is a guitar that is of a very high standard not only in terms of appearance but also in terms of sound and playability.
It has an excellent sense of stability and is designed to be easy to play whether you are standing or sitting.
The body material is alder.
The neck is maple with a through-neck joint.
The neck-through structure provides outstanding sustain, and the boldly processed joints make it highly playable in high positions.
The fingerboard is ebony and the scale is a regular long scale 25.5 inch scale.
In addition, the fingerboard is scalloped up to the 20th and 24th frets, which, combined with the depth of the cutaway, improves playability at higher frets.
The pickups that are the key to the sound are made by EMG.
Equipped with a single coil type HZ-S2 at the front and a humbucker HZ-FH2 at the rear.
A bright and well-balanced vintage wound humbucker.
It is characterized by a sharp sound with a distinctive high frequency range.
It is also equipped with the MM-04 preamplifier, which was jointly developed by ESP and ESP distributor MUSAMAAILMA in Finland, where Alexi is from.
This preamp booster was developed to be installed in this model of AlexiRaiho's guitar, and is a key element in creating his trademark crisp sound.
Consists of four preset frequency switches and a gain control.
The bridge is equipped with a locking tremolo and an original Floyd Rose (made in Germany).
