Antique French Napoleon III Classical Bust Cost, Circa 1870

A fine example of a bronze Napoleon III classical bust mantel clock dating to circa 1870. 

The clock demonstrates the finest quality of craftsmanship. The clock, of circular form, features an ormolu dial with enamel outer chapter featuring black hand painted Arabic numerals and minute marks. The whole raised on a stepped circular base with four elaborately scrolled feet. The face is protected by glass.

The original 8 day mechanical mechanism is present featuring an integrated pendulum and integrated winding key.

Condition: Overall, the clock is in good working condition. The ormolu is in good condition and retains a very good colour.
