My commitment as a seller
2nd hand garments and accessories (new & used)
I will pack the garment very well, but it may arrive with some wrinkles due to being folded in transit.
With exception of NEW items and dry clean only garments, they are laundered and air dried prior to the listing and then stored away in a clean environment until sold.
I never use any fabric conditioner as this impacts negatively on the environment and also very damaging to the fabric, especially the kind used for outdoor / waterproof garments, fleece garments and school uniforms.
Unless you buy brand new from a retailer, it is a fact that most 2nd hand garments and accessories (new or used) may typically have some degree of 'smell' from various substances which may commonly include laundry detergent, fabric conditioner, perfume, anti-static dryer sheets, air / room / wardrobe freshener, body deodorant, moth repellent, potpourri sachet, etc. Any 'smell’ of this nature is always temporarily more elevated when the garment has been completely confined and sealed inside a plastic bag during transit, and anyone not used to a new smell may find it extra pungent. Such ''SMELL' is subjective to each individual, even if you may not be keen of it, it is not a case of ‘Defect, damaged' or 'Not as Described'. To neutralise any smell, I have found that the combination of laundering and airing out is usually an effective measure, which is also a hygienic general practice to treat 2nd hand garments before wearing. If you cannot accept this typical condition as part of purchasing 2nd hand, please buy brand new from a retailer instead.
