The date on the Gibson Byrdland serial manufactured in the 1970s is an individual produced from 1970 to 1975.
Adopts a body shape similar to the company's popular full acoustic model L-5.
At first glance, they look very similar, but the body thickness is thinner and the size is easier to hold.
In addition, the neck scale uses a 597mm short scale. The slim neck shape makes this model easy to hold and play.
The front pickup is a sticker numbered PAF.
The rear pickup is peeled off, but it appears to be a sticker numbered PAF, and both are original mounts.
The nut and frets have been replaced by the previous owner, and the bridge has also been changed from the original.
The wear parts have been touched up, so you can see that it has been played well. The pickguard has been removed and is missing.
There are strong signs of use such as cracks and discoloration, but all of these are proof that it has survived many years, making it truly vintage! It will sublimate to a look like this.
