Up until now, Headway has focused on long-lasting performance, giving the impression of thick and sturdy necks, but the extra slim U-neck with a vertical width of 20.5 mm has been designed to meet the needs of recent years and boasts the best playability.
In addition to simply making it thinner, we adhered to Headway's production philosophy and maintained its robustness by inserting two carbon supports in the neck.
Due to its high rigidity, the vibrations of the neck are immediately transmitted to the body, leading to good response.
Finally, for the bracing, which can be said to be the core of an acoustic guitar's sound, we have adopted 34 semi-forward shift bracing, which Headway master builder Mr. Momose has found success with over the past few years.
