Carl S. Junge (American 1880-1972) was an illustrator and bookplate artist. 

Depicted at center is author Oliver Goldsmith, seated at a desk with a flute, behind him on the desk is ink well with feather quill, a bottle of wine and a glass.

Encircling the image of Goldsmith is a list of his noted works, including The Vicar of Wakefield, The Deserted Village, and the Traveller. The artist's name is in the upper center of the print,k but it is also signed by the artist at the bottom.
