Fender Electric XII '66

Description

This is a 1966 Fender Electric 12.
The 12-string was loved by many musicians, including those who recorded Jimmy Page's Stairway to Heaven, but it was unpopular at the time of its release and was discontinued after less than five years of production, and there are only a few good models left in existence.

This individual is in good playing condition, and the neck is particularly good, making it an easy-to-play 12-string.
Neck date 12JAN66B, pickup is original gray bobbin.
Replacement parts are GOTOH peg, nut, and pot 1 Vol.Other than that, I keep the original.

There are some small scratches and paint loss, but there are no problems with the instrument, and there is no wood repair.
The neck is in good condition with 780% of the frets remaining.
There is plenty of room for both truss rods, and there are no problems with the electrical system.
The low string height setting is equivalent to a regular 6-string, so you can play without stress.
There is some chipping on the pickguard, and there is evidence that a tension guide was added to the head.
The unique headstock, called a hockey stick, is specially designed, making it easier to wind the strings than any other 12-string.
The strings are back-wired, which creates a unique sustain.

This is an easy-to-play book that is in good playing condition.
Do not miss it.
