Good- condition miniature vellum-bound hardcover copy of De Rerum Inventoribus by Polydore Vergil of Urbino. Measures ~4.75" x 3" x 1.5" and has 713 pages + 26 index pages. Published 1604 by Haered, Seb. Gryphii in Lyon, France. Text is in Latin. Binding is tight and pages are generally unmarked, with the exception of occasional red coloring-in on in-text decoration, red doodle to verso p. 713, creasing and partial separation to last index page, and very occasional, tiny, very old marginal notes. Boards are generally clean and square with the exception of large section of scuffed, stained paper affixed to back, minor soiling to covers, minor curling to corners, partial seam split to back tail hinge, and appropriate age-toning for an early 17th century book.
