Good- condition miniature vellum-bound hardcover copy of PRespublicae Graecorum, Pars Secunda (The Republic of The Greeks, Part Two) by Ubbo Emmius. Measures ~4.5" x 2.25" x 1." Published 1644 by Elseviriana in Lyon, France. Text is in Latin. Binding is tight due to vellum shrinkage, but is holding sound. Pages are generally unmarked, with the exception of significant chipping and closed tears to endpapers. Boards are generally clean and square with title hand-written on spine, soiling to covers, rubbing to corners, significant sunning to spine, and appropriate age-toning for a 17th century book.
