The SR's identity, which has remained unchanged since its inception, is that it is an electric bass with a compact body that fits the body, a slim neck, and a variety of sounds.
Based on the concept of DesignedToInspire, we are adding a new SR model to the Premium series, which aims to create gear that will inspire the player who holds it.

The 3D arched SR body uses African mahogany for the body back, flame maple for the wing section of the top of the body, and a combination of flame maple and bubinga for the center section. This material was chosen for the rich mid-low range characteristics essential for bass sounds, as well as the attack and crisp high range characteristics.

The 5pc neck is laminated with Panga Panga wood and Purple Heart wood and uses KTS™ TITANIUM rods to increase neck rigidity and sustain.
The slim neck has been shaped to the ultimate in creating a clear sound image, a sense of attack, and is easy to hold for all players.
Flamed Maple fretboard
We have chosen the rare and valuable flame heathered maple wood for the fingerboard.
The position mark is an oval shape in blue color.
There are individual differences in the grain.

Nordstrand™ Big Breakpickups
Modeled after BigSingle's excellent tonal character, this pickup uses a soap bar-shaped pickup with a split coil structure that has a high noise canceling effect, creating a tighter high range sound and a boomier low range sound. This is a jointly developed pickup by Ibanez and Nordstrand™.
The 5-string model is designed with a dummy magnet placed to balance the bass and treble strings and achieve low noise.
In fact, many SR models were originally equipped with two split coils, and this model is full of SR characteristics that inherits that tradition.

The MR5S monorail bridge is equipped with a string pitch adjustment mechanism.
Each string has an independent bridge, which transmits string vibrations directly to the body.
In addition, the saddle can be moved 1.5mm left and right, and the space between the strings (interstring pitch) can be adjusted as desired within the range of movement.
