Popular K.Yairi, YW-600 made in 1977, which was active in the 1970s

K.Yairi guitars, a well-known domestic manufacturer, was founded in 1965 by the second generation, Kazuo Yairi, and continues to this day. During the folk boom of the 70's, it was already a popular manufacturer and a coveted brand for guitar fans. At that time, we were developing two series: DY, which was made entirely of solid wood, and YW, which used plywood for the sides and back.

This instrument is the YW-600, which was a popular model of the YW series, and is constructed using high quality spruce veneer for the top and coral rose plywood for the sides and back. It was described in the catalog at the time as having a unique, rich, deep, lived-in sound, and I'm sure there were many guitar players who used this model.

The inlay logo on the headplate, Avalon hexagon inlay on the fingerboard, rosette, and binding inlay are also gorgeous and can be seen from a distance. It features a Yairi-like sound! !

Since it has been 47 years, there are some signs of use such as fine, small, noticeable scratches, dents, chips in the paint film, cloudy paint, etc., but it can be used without any problems at present. It has been completely inspected at our workshop. The pegs are replaced with new Goto upon arrival, allowing for even more precise tuning.

This instrument is in player's condition, so it is recommended for players who value playing and don't care about scratches or the like! !
If you want to play songs from that era, how about playing with a model created in real time?
It seems like the good times are coming back, and you can't help but sing while playing it.
