This pickup is from a 1974 Gibson Ripper Bass. Polarity is north up and when checked with a multimeter the DC resistance was 6.22K ohms. Be aware that this figure may vary on another multimeter. There is a small hairline crack on the top of the cover between the two center screws, which is merely cosmetic but does not affect the functionality of the pickup.
