A bold statement in sound and visuals
The LesPaul™ Standard50s Figured Top returns to a classic design that has shaped, played and loved sounds across generations and musical genres. We wanted to bring back an authentic sound that pays homage to Gibson's golden age of innovation. It features a solid mahogany body, AA figured maple top, and a translucent custom-colored nitrocellulose lacquer finish that highlights the top. The mahogany neck has a rounded 50s vintage profile and the rosewood fingerboard has trapezoidal inlays. This model features an ABR-1, classic style Tune-O-Matic™ bridge, aluminum stop bar tailpiece, vintage deluxe tuners with keystone buttons, and gold top hat knobs. Calibrated Burstbucker™1 neck and Burstbucker2 bridge pickups feature Alnico 2 magnets and are wired with audio tapered potentiometers and OrangeDrop® capacitors. A hard shell case is also included.
