BOSE WAVE RADIO *DIY* not PROFESSIONAL REPAIR SERVICE for Model AWRCC1 & AWRCC2
This is a beginner's guide for do-it-yourselfers who might never have done any soldering before but want to take on the project of repairing their Bose Wave Music System.
The lack of good, honest techs who can do good and reasonably priced restoration/rebuild of audio equipment made me start offering this restoration kit. Also, the fact that shipping your Bose Wave Music System back and forth is a recipe for disaster. These units are over 20 years old and if not packed properly they can easily be broken. Not to mention having to spend $20-$30 each way to ship and $100-200 to get it fixed.
In today's day and age, it is very hard to come by a knowledgeable tech who can service your audio gear well. I have seen many poor-quality restorations of equipment that cost way too much to its owners.
If your Bose Wave radio is experiencing the following issues:

- Remote isn't responding (battery has been checked) light is showing up on the unit but no response to commands
- Disc Unreadable Error
- CD Won't Eject
