Antique Victorian 18ct gold coral lucky pig charm / pendant
An extraordinary antique pig charm crafted from a beautiful piece of genuine coral displaying a naturally occuring, fine and delicate graining. Skillfully hand carved with fine detailing to the ears, eyes, snout, trotters and tail.
This sweet little piggy has been fitted with an 18ct yellow gold waistband including a ring which can be connected to a bail for attaching to a bracelet or looping through a chain.
A highly collectable piece, this fabulous pig charm is a fair size and would also look great worn as a pendant. During the Victorian period, pigs were seen as lucky charms and were often represented in New Year's blessings as symbols of prosperity!

Hallmarks: None - tested as 18ct gold
Condition: In a good antique condition, bar a minute chip on the underside of the pig's rear trotter.
