Up for your consideration is a Tombo Dragon Fly Chord Harmonica.  This harmonica belonged to the late Bud Boblink and is directly from his estate.

Bud played the harmonica for over 70 years and worked with the "Harmonicats" and "Harmonica Rascals" and was awarded the Bernie Bray Award for playing excellence in 2004 by the Society for Preservation and Advancement of the Harmonica (SPAH).

This is a very unusual chord harmonica.  ALL chords are four notes and BLOW only.  The double thickness instrument has major chords on the top row and minor chords on the bottom row. The chord layout left to right is Db-Ab-Eb-Bb-F-C-G-D-A-E-B-F#.  The single thickness instrument has "seventh" chords and the layout left to right is Db7-Ab7-Eb7-Bb7-F7-C7-G7-D7-A7-E7-B7-F#7.  Please note that these two halves are not hinged together and were designed to be held close to each other by the hands.

This auction includes the Tombo wood case pictured.

Please review the photos (be sure to zoom in on them) and bid with enthusiasm!  I always include photos with the covers and reed plates removed so that you can look “under the hood” to see what you’re really getting.
