Item Description:  Up for auction is an antique, copyright 1889, decorated, tan cloth board HB book entitled "Queen Bess" (contains 320 numbered pages) by Mrs. Georgie Sheldon. Published by the A. L. Burt Company, New York. In good condition, especially considering its age. The outer binding/spine is fully intact with no loose or missing pages. The inner hinges are a bit loose, and starting to separate on the page following the title page. See the last photo for a close-up. The cover shows moderate wear, and the inner pages show very slight age toning. The inner pages have no rips, tears, odors, holes, or extraneous writing (except for birthday inscription on first page). See third photo for a close-up. I have shown the front and side view of the book as well as several inner pages. Please, carefully examine the many photographs to best judge the book's condition for yourself.
