1983 Honda CBX1000...

I'm sure I don't need to point out the legendary status of these six cylinder bikes with that charismatic creamy power delivery. This later model refined the package with uprated forks/air suspension, vented four pot disc brakes, plus an effective touring fairing with handy factory panniers..I had a naked CBX some years ago and actually now prefer the style and refinement of this later model, and it certainly has enough performance!

I sourced the bike from a private US collection last summer treating it to a full service, and recently fitted a nice sticky new Conti front tyre/new rear brake disc

The original condition astounds people - in near showroom finish throughout, just one or two age related minor paint marks here and there. Needless to say it rides beautifully and certainly turn heads

Just hit 15000 miles, mot/tax exempt of course.

A reluctant sale but im spending more time abroad nowadays...to me a CBX has status along the lines of a classic Aston Martin, and I don't want to subject it to repeated european mileage and weather..
