Cleveland Cable Car   1 Troy Oz. .999 Fine Silver Bar  Madison Mint

This is a 1 Troy Ounce .999 Fine Silver bar minted by Madison Mint in 1972 to commemorate the Cleveland Cable Car. Great part of our history, from some of the earliest art bars minted. It measures aprox. 1 15/16 inch by 1 1/8 inch. It is in very good circulated condition and will come protected in a vinyl sleeve. It is listed in the silver art bar guide book as number MAD-1.

On the front  is a long cushion shape with a textured border edge. In the middle is a very detailed carving of the Cleveland Cable Car. It says PAYNE AVENUE at the top of the cable car. Below the Cable Car it says .999 FINE SILVER ONE OUNCE. The back of this early Madison Mint bar is plain. Some of the nicest art work on older bars, truly what silver art collecting is all about.
