Here is a vintage original GALCO automobile / rally DASH MOUNTED stopwatch, made in Switzerland. The watch case, face and glass cover are in great condition with only the lightest wear. Winds up and runs perfectly and re-sets with a click. The face is 2 1/2” across.
The metal housing is 3 1/8” square and has the 4 original dash mounting holes. Black enamel over metal and holds the stopwatch tight. I removed the timepiece to show the great condition of the watch. Please note that there is a small ding on the side of the housing. The watch was not damaged and protected it as it should during a car race.
Has an initial and a number marked on the backside.
