  Making the neck can be quite an easy process with these tips.  All neck parts will be dimensioned for this method unless requested otherwise.

The kit is almost complete with parts that you will need to make a guitar.  Some parts shown will be made from the cut-offs excess of the back or top set.  

The kit is a great starter kit for those who likes to have fun with much of the guitar making process. Some things are already done for you, but you will still be in control of much of the building processes making your own true custom guitar.  Because of this range of freedom in decision making, this kit is also a great kit for those more experienced also.

  • MARTIN GENUINE ALL SOLID MAHOGANY back and side set...very aged at least 15 years old stock.
  • Martin prebent Sides...may or may NOT be bookmatched, but very similar looking...I can't tell.   Will still make nice guitar.
  • Martin Bookmatched mahogany back sets...22" X 8" X .214".  Sanding service available for the back and top sets after the purchase for a small fee.
  • brace wood material for the back.....needs to be cut.
  • back re-enforcement strip for the back....will be made from the cutoffs of the back or top.
  • SOLID WOOD TOP...red cedar,  22" X 8" X .224".  I have spruce top for an additional $35.
  • Quatersawn braces wood material for the top.
