On this near perfect enamel dial and movement it is signed "J.H Porte, Picton" which is just west of Kingston Ontario Canada our nations first capital of upper Canada way back in the 1800's before Ottawa won the prize of our Capital. Across this 10 size pocket watch is 42mm. On the back over of this gold filled hunter case there is a nice scene etched onto the back of this case of Farm house with mountains in the background. The case is signed P.W.C.Co and the serial number is the same on all 3 plates 314,575. The dial again is enamel the hands are thin railroad spade pieces and the hunter crystal is glass not cheap plastic. The movement is signed as mentioned in the heading and it is a genuine Omega with 15 clean and inspected jewels. I have serviced this gem and added a new mainspring so yes it keeps excellent time indeed. A few winds of the crown and this 1909 pocket watch works perfectly. The serial number for this little gem is 3,213,127 again perfectly serviced and ready to go ;-)
