Pilot Elite Sterling Silver 18K-WG Medium Nib (H577) With Con-40 & Pen Pouch.

One of the most sought after of the pocket Pilot Elites, this is Sterling silver from head-to-toe. The nib is 18K White Gold stamped H577 (Pilot’s Hiratsuka factory just outside Tokyo, May 1977). The nib itself has kept its shine, and only has one or two small marks.

The nib writes beautifully and had very little feedback, with a consistent, wet line through each stroke.

The cap and barrel are near mint, although there were a few dark patches that were hard to photograph, there aren’t any major blemishes (marks, dents, scratches, etc). The bottom of the clip has seen better days, but the Pilot logo is still clear and there’s no tarnishing, just scratches around 1-2mm each in length (also present at the top of the clip).

The section is in great shape, as are the feed and cartridge connector, no engravings or noticeable scratches.

The pen comes with a new or nearly new con-40 (all are properly cleaned) and the leather pouch with testing card shown in the photo.

I believe the pouch is real leather, however I cannot guarantee. It is however good quality, and comes with an elastic strap to secure the pen.

Even though the pen has been thoroughly cleaned before and after testing, it’s always best to rinse through before use.

Returns for used pens are only accepted if they are faulty or not as described. However I do sometimes allow for pens to be dip tested as long as the feed and cartridge don’t get ink up, please message me in advance.
