There is velcro to hold the door out of the way if you want to leave it open and an elastic loop attached to the pen to secure it when it is folded up. It pops open and folds back up quickly and easily. It is about 28" across and about 17" high when set up and folds up to about 12" x 17" x 3" making it light and easy to carry and pack for travel.
