These gems are a pretty light blue color, hand cut and faceted. I've carefully wire wrapped them and suspended them gorgeous handmade studs. This is a one of a kind earrings so you will get the pictured ones.

Gold filled is when a layer of gold is pressure bonded to another metal. Gold filled is not to be confused with gold plating as filled literally has 100% more gold than gold plating. About Vermeil:

Vermeil ( for those who don't know already ) is a term used to describe when a gold layer is fused to sterling silver. The gold is then many times thicker than plating would be. This is a gold choice for anyone with metal allergies.

This can be cleaned like any sterling silver by dipping into silver cleaner.
