Vintage Broad head axe / hewing axe.  Head is approx 7.25" from poll to outer edge, edge approx 7" overall.  Approx 36" from outer tip of edge to end of handle .

Handle is straight and marked Rixford.  Head is marked but I can't make enough out to guess as to what all is there.  Sharpened on one side, signs of prior rust and some pitting but overall in working condition and ready to go back to work.  See photos
