This whimsical cast-iron doorstop was produced by the Hubley Manufacturing Company some time in the 1920's or 30's. The paint looks to be all original, which is quite a feat considering that the piece probably spent the better part of the last 100 years out in the elements.

Condition: The paint is heavily chipped and worn, but all of the colors are still present and easily visible. There is some rust and discoloration to the areas wear the metal is exposed. Overall, the piece is in very good condition considering its age and intended use. See pictures for details.

A handling fee will be added to cover the costs of insurance and signature confirmation on all Calculated Shipping transactions. This varies by product and carrier, but is usually between $5.00 - $10.00.

Cancellations and Returns
If you bid on an item in error, contact us as soon as you notice the mistake and we may be able to cancel the bid, so long as there is 24 hours or more before the end of the auction. However, if you bid on an item that has less than 24 hours remaining on the auction, or you have bid multiple times on the same item, no bids will be canceled. If you win an auction, you are responsible to pay for the item won.
All sales of items bought through "Buy It Now" are considered final.
Returns are accepted only in cases of the wrong item being sent to you or a major defect that is not shown or described in the original listing is found. No refunds will be issued until a returned item is inspected and verified.
