1930 Motobecane 350 twin port single in excellent running order...
During the 1930s, the company were pretty high tech even manufacturing a longitudinal shaft-drive inline-four engine motorcycle in 500 and 750 cc (31 and 46 cu in). During this period, the firm entered road racing competitions and even  won the Bol d'or endurance race.

A rare sight in the UK this model is a stylish and useable machine, streets ahead in the 1930s with its strong overhead valve twin port single engine. Good rear brake (typical feeble 30s front brake), no oil leaks, and a lovely crisp exhaust note.

I've had the bike a couple of years after looking for a vintage hand gearchange machine and have really enjoyed its character and surprising usability - its run reliably for me since day one.
It's in fine mechanical condition, just note the generator was removed when I bought it but it runs on direct mag ignition anyway. I did rig up separate 12v lighting from a battery for a while but didn't need to as it's never ridden in the dark!

The bike can cruise surprisingly well on the backroads lovely on thise Sunday runs. Banbury run eligible too so here's your chance!
