This thing is pretty darn precision. I hung tiny pieces of jewelry on the hooks on both ends and it was hard to add weight small enough to balance to the point where the needle and balance line lined up. I gave up when I got it to a point where neither side was all the way up or all the way down.

More of a deco item than a for use item. It does have a learning curve to learn to use it. I suppose if you got some tiny weights and trays to hang from the hooks you could use it.

There is a chip in center of round front glass piece.

Easier to use weight watchers digital scale. I’ve always liked scales and this is one of the coolest I’ve seen.

Condition does show lots of handling years of storage and use.
