ESP AMAZE-CTM-SL5 FM M Tea Sunburst
Description
Inheriting the traditional J style, the AMAZE has a small body that matches the Japanese body type, and is a bass with good playability and a sound that meets world standards.
The body is made of swamp ash, which has excellent sound balance, and the top of the body is laminated using a drop-top method in which beautiful 5mm thick flame maple is bent and glued to the shape of the elbow contour. To make the most of the heathered grain, the pickguard is made of clear acrylic.
The neck is most commonly made of hard maple, which is excellent in terms of strength and sound. The standard fingerboard is hard maple, the same as the neck, but you can also choose rosewood. The scale is the standard 864mm for the 4-string model, and the longer 889mm for the 5-string model.
The pickup is equipped with ESP Custom Lab's J type set, which has clear and Hi-Fi characteristics and is compatible with the active EQ circuit. The active EQ circuit has a built-in ESP Cinnamon that allows you to create a wide range of sounds from rock to pop to jazz. In addition to the bass, middle, and treble bands located on the control panel, gain adjustment is also possible with the trimmer inside the cavity.
Hard parts are manufactured by GOTOH in Japan. The pegs are small and lightweight GB-11W, and the bridge is a 404BO brass saddle. Players can choose between two ways to string the strings: from the bridge end or from the body back.
AMAZE provides an almighty sound despite its small size. The higher-end model, CTM, is based on the AS structure, with a 5mm thick flame maple laminated on the top. The influence of flame maple not only gives it a gorgeous look, but also gives it a slightly brighter tone. Like AS, it can be said to be a bass suitable for slap sounds. Covers everything from modern vintage sounds to heavy bass.

It uses a super long scale of 35 inches (approximately 889 mm), which is 1 inch longer than the standard scale of 34 inches (approximately 864 mm). This is a selection to improve the 5-string LowB sound and tension.
A pick-up fence full of originality
Comes with an ESP original pickup fence with a well-thought-out shape and height that allows for both slap and 2-finger play.
For installation, it is necessary to drill screw holes in the body.
3 band EQ CINNAMON
It has a built-in 3-band EQCINNAMON that is useful for a wide range of sound creation. By raising the master volume, the sound will not go through the preamp.
Since the treble cut is a passive circuit, it functions as a normal tone even when passive.
ESP Custom Lab Pickup
The pickup is equipped with ESP Custom Lab's J5-1 pickup, which has clear and Hi-Fi characteristics that go well with EQ, and eliminates the unsatisfactory feeling when using passive.
Additionally, the bridge pickup is mounted closer to the bridge than a typical J-style bass, providing a more defined sound.
