The new TELECASTER Custom 2015 is the successor to the FENDER Japan TL62B, and is our very own customized version of the classic TELECASTER.
The material composition includes a rosewood fingerboard neck and an alder body with see-through grain, and the contrast between the trans-blue color and white binding adds to the accentuated look.
The pickups have been replaced with Monty's Broadcaster '50 Raw Nickel Cover Set with copper-plated plates, and the selector, pot (CTS 1 MΩ), and condenser have been upgraded as well!

Using the original zinc-plated base plate and 43' gauge wire, it has a thicker bass, more pronounced midrange, and slightly rounder top end than later "TELECASTER" pickups. The model with this unit has a copper-plated bass plate, which gives it an edgier bite than the original model.
As with the pickups of the time, the potting is only partially applied, so there is no wax in the center of the coil, allowing for a clearer and more responsive sound.
