In 2013, I purchased this Shimano 11-speed hub package new for $511 (see scanned Bill of Sale). I estimate the hub has about 2,000 miles on it. Note: the hub-axle threads are in perfect shape, I made them look mangled when I removed the shadow from the photo.

The hub was installed on my ElliptiGO stand-up, elliptical-pedal bicycle to replace the OEM Alfine 8-speed hub. Despite this hub making me faster on the ElliptiGO, I still could not keep up with my friends on their conventional bikes, so I rode this strange bike only occassionally until 2018. I liked being able to change gears very quickly even when not pedaling and the extra 3 gears with their expanded range provided a very positive improvement.

I believe I am including all the parts required to make this hub work, but I am not guaranteeing that. Please consult Shimano documentation (all the documentation I received is included) and review the attached photos to see what I am including (along with the included shift cable not visible in the photos).

The rubber gaiter connected to the cable-housing stop has some breaks in it (see photo), but those breaks don't interfere with the shifting in any way. I didn't know there were breaks until I removed it from the bike because the breaks weren't obvious when the part was in place on the bike.

There are two color-coded washers (enboxed in photo) that orient the rotational angle of the hub in the rear drop-outs so that the shift cable points towards the front of the bike. If these two washers don't match the angle of your bike's rear dropouts, you will need to obtain different color-coded washers from Shimano.

As noted, the used shift cable is included. It's still attached to the shifter, in the box with the shifter. The ElliptiGO is a long bike, so the cable was originally long enough for a tandem bike. That means if you're installing this hub on a conventional, solo bicycle, you'll have no worries that this cable might be an inch too short.

AND, IF YOU ORDER NOW, I'm including an unopened Rohloff Speedhub oil-change kit (see photo). The Rohloff Speedhub is a different brand of internally geared multi-speed hub, but I was told this kit works with Shimano Alfine hubs, too.
