The popular 1957 specification historic collection
Gibson's pinnacle series Historic Collection, affectionately known as His-Colle. 1957 specification Les Paul Reissue 1957LesPaulReissue (LPR-7) Probably an individual made in 2003. The gold top that divides Les Paul's popularity in two, along with the burst, is the best.

The serial number is 72658, indicating that it was made in 1992 or 2002, but the fact that the pickup is a burst backer with a sticker on the back, and the type of hard case suggests that it is most likely made in 2002. Masu. (Also, all models made in 1992 have the old Historic logo on the back of the head)

It uses high-quality mahogany and rosewood fingerboard, and the neck that follows the 1950s creates a thick core Gibson sound. In order to faithfully reproduce warm tones and rich overtones, we use Burst Backer #2 and #3 (the type with a PAF sticker on the back) that reproduces PAF for the pickup.

The powerful sound that comes from the thick neck makes me think that this is exactly what Gibson has reached.

Comes with Gibson Historic Hard Case.

A drive sound that feels powerful, a thick clean tone, this is the best gold top! Extended sustain, pleasant overtones, and contours that remain even when strongly distorted. Perhaps it has something to do with the neck, which is a symbol of the 1950s, and the sound output is good, so you can play it forever.

The quality of the wood used in this series, which was launched around 2005, is quite remarkable, and the color of the fingerboard is especially nice. The rose fingerboard on this guitar is quite black. It's really cool to see it live, and it gets you excited. Similarly, the slight scratches on the back give it a well-used look, which is cool. Furthermore, it is light at 3.75kg, so you can easily use it on stage.

The grip on the neck is relatively thick, but it's a nice touch. The quality and price of an instrument are not necessarily proportional, but when it comes to this Gibson, it seems difficult to find a guitar with a better humbucker in this price range. Whether you already own a Les Paul or not, if you don't have a Gold Top yet, why not take this opportunity to get one?
