Collings D2H Made in 2003

Description

A popular Collings model with a high degree of perfection!
While paying respect to vintage Martin, Collings quickly became one of the top manufacturers by incorporating original ideas such as the bolt-on neck structure. It has a well-balanced sound, is extremely easy to use for recording and live performances, and has a reputation for durability and fewer neck problems that plague acoustic guitar users. This individual is the popular model D2H of the D-28 style. It is a hybrid guitar that features a prewar advanced scalloped brace, herringbone binding, and slotted diamond square markers reminiscent of the pre-war D-28, but with a modern short saddle and adjustable rod.
There are some small dents and shallow scratches, but they are not noticeable. In addition, the plating on the pegs has become dull, and there are what appear to be minute bubbles scattered within the paint film on the neck and back of the head, but considering the model year, it remains in relatively good condition. It can be said that it has been done.
The neck is in good condition and the truss rod has been confirmed to work. Over 80% of the fret height remains, and both playability and sound are perfect.
It sounds solid like a Collings. The sound is coherent, has just the right amount of power, and has a good response. This is a recommended book.
