With a three-dimensional depiction of Diana, the Goddess of the hunt and her attendants to one side, the hunt of a deer buck to the other, and a full-figural finial and maiden handles.

The interior retains traces of its original gold wash.

Marked to one foot W.M.F. / 10 / as.

Overall Condition:
It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition.

Condition Details:
The interior retains some of its original gold wash. The lid rests slightly askew in most positions. The maiden on the cover lacks her staff, there is some pitting to the casting from the surface, a few spots of persistent tarnish, a few spots of over-polishing, and some light edge wear throughout. Otherwise, there are some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
